The Gist

We're super excited to be hosting a Californnia Trenchin' Convention for the first time!

The Tahoe Trenchin' Convention, hosted at Kirkwood Mountain, CA is a non-competitive week of riding for hardboot enthusiasts from around the world. For the first time ever, we're bringing a Bomber sponsored carving event to the West Coast, and we're stoked. Whether you're new to hardboots or a seasoned pro, we have a week full of riding fellowship, social events, clinics, and all the demo gear your heart could desire.

We will have a demo tent set up at Kirkwood Mountain each day of the event, Monday - Friday. Industry representatives will be present to explain their gear and to make turns with you! How many people get to say they ride with the person who makes their board!?

Just when your legs cant take any more there are lots of options to get social with your fellow riders. The week culminates in our end of week party and dinner on Thursday evening. Expect to return home with some free gear as we raffle off boards, bindings, boots, and lots of shwag!

Lift Tickets and Packages

We've simplified this year. While it may seem like there are less options, they make more sense!

Step One: Register for the TTC

We're making it easy! Registration includes the opening night party, a ticket to the Thursday night Schwanquet with 6 raffle entries, and a bag 'o schwag. All demos are included in the price of registration. Apres meet-ups are open to all participants and are pay your own way. We figured this was the best way to cater to what you want: drinks or no drinks; food or no food; social time or alone time. There is an option to purchase only the Thursday Dinner ticket if you won't be attending the majority of the week.

Step Two: Select Lift Tickets

Since lift tickets are now stand alone, we have included every increment of ticket from a single day up to a seven-day. Lift tickets range from $68 for a single day to $476 for seven-day. Lift tickets are valid for a few days outside of the even window and will be active from March 10th - March 19th. In general, the total savings average $20+ per day less than a window ticket or online pre-purchase options through Kirkwood Mountain. Lift tickets will be purchased by Bomber and provided to participants for pick up on the first day of the event.

Step Three: Lodging + Extras

The only stand alone option available is a single dinner ticket. The modestly priced "full" registration is highly recommended for the majority of attendees - it includes demos! The standalone dinner ticket is for those attending that day/weekend of the event who may not want the full goodies. Raffle tickets not included an will need to be purchased at the door. Discounted lodging is also available through the event. Parties must contact and book directly through Kirkwood Mountain. For more information on loding bookings, see details below.

Lodging

Participants of the Tahoe Trenchin' Convention have access to group lodging rates through Kirkwood. You must contact the mountain directly in order to book discounted lodging.

Magical, raw, expansive and remote, Kirkwood is the stuff of legend. With the deepest, driest snow around and some of North America's most diverse and challenging terrain, Kirkwood offers big mountain riding with small town attitude. It's about adventure and challenge. Discovery from exploration. Personal satisfaction, from personal challenge. At the end of the day, a uniquely rewarding experience that can only be had at a handful of places on Earth. Tucked away about 35 miles southwest of South Lake Tahoe, Kirkwood is out of the way but the reward is well worth the effort of finding it.

Our unique location atop the Sierra Crest combined with elevations ranging 7,800 to 9,800 feet create a little something we like to call the K-Factor – a geographical predisposition to receive the lightest, the driest, and the most plentiful snow in the Tahoe region.  With 2000 feet of vertical drop, and over 2300 acres of terrain from calm groomed beginner runs to hair raising cornices, cliffs and the most high angle grooming around, there’s something for everyone at the 'Wood.
